Am I tied into a contract?
It’s a 1 month minimum rolling contract.
Do you have a minimum age for membership?
Yes, members must be at least 18 years old. We do allow age 16 and above only when accompanied by an adult, direct debit consent from an adult over 18 and must sign up in the gym.
Is the gym staffed 24 hours a day?
The gym is staffed Monday to Friday between 8am and 10pm and at the weekends between 9am and 4pm. However, Pump Gyms is highly secure and safe with full CCTV monitoring and help points.
How do I get into the gym?
Once you’ve signed up to Pump Gyms, you’ll be given a unique PIN code. This PIN is used to enrol a fingerprint on your first visit to the club which can be done using one of our kiosks in the main entrance. This fingerprint then allows you to access the gym each time.
What fitness equipment do Pump Gyms have?
Our local gyms in Hatfield, Watford, Northampton, Stourbridge, Colchester and Bedford have more than 250 pieces of state-of-the art cardio and strength equipment, as well as free weights.
Will I be shown how to use the equipment?
If you require it, we provide a FREE induction.
Do you offer fitness classes?
Yes, we have over 200+ LIVE classes, including Les Mills, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Spin, Boxercise and many more.
We also have a virtual spin studios, which you can select a class 24 hours a day, if no instructor led spin classes are running.
Do you have personal trainers?
We have a fantastic team of experienced personal trainers who you can book at an additional cost.
What other facilities do you offer?
We have male and female pin-accessed changing areas and showers. We have chosen not to install a swimming pool in order to keep your membership fees low and to focus on high quality gym equipment. Our Colchester, Watford and Bedford clubs do include Saunas in both male and female changing rooms.
Do I need to wear a face mask to access the gym ?Please wear a face covering when entering the gym, in communal areas and changing rooms, and when moving around the gym (except when exercising). This can be removed during exercise.

Your unique PIN is automatically generated and emailed to you on completion of the online joining process. Please be sure to check your Spam or Junk mail first. Alternatively, you can log in to the members area on our website using your email address and password to see your PIN in the summary details.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes, if you are going a away for a while you can freeze your membership for FREE*. It takes 5 working days to process a freeze. Please email Watford - Stourbridge - Hatfield - Northampton - Colchester - Bedford - Norwich
How do I cancel my membership?
Credit/Debit Card Membership: if you are on a recurring credit card membership please email firstname.lastname@example.org with with your membership details, full name, address & site. We require a minimum 2 working days to cancel.
Direct Debit Harlands Membership: To cancel your membership, if you are on a direct debit membership just cancel your direct debit with your bank under the reference Harlands (it takes 5 working days to cancel a direct debit)
Don't forget, if you are going away for a while you can freeze your membership for FREE*. It takes 5 working days to process a freeze. To freeze please email email@example.com. You are entitled to a 14 day cooling period if the facilities have not been used or a day pass fee for each day the gym has been used would apply. It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership.
Can I pay by cash?
We do not offer cash facilities at any of our venues. In order for your PIN to be activated, all payments must be set up on line by direct debit/credit card or one off payments for the day pass.
What do I do if my fingerprint doesn’t work on entrance to the gym?

Can I book classes?
Classes can be booked via the online booking system. Please ensure you turn up on time or you may be refused entry. Timetables may be subject to change. Virtual on demand classes available 24/7.
Do you offer corporate membership?
*You can freeze for a maximum of 3 months
